    Hello:

We are new soccer club in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. We play in the adult league here, however our players work with the inner city children teaching soccer. We have 8 inner city teams that we coach and conduct training sessions for. These are children who do not participate in regular soccer leagues because the are economically challenged or face other such barriers. We are trying to raise money to purchase new uniforms and equipment for all eight teams.

    Perhaps you can help us.

    Hello:

This year was my first year coaching. I coached a youth basketball team age 13under. My team did very well for the first year. We played in both YBOA and USSSA sanctioned events. We won the Florida YBOA 13UD2 state title and will soon be participating in YBOA nationals the end of July. I just want to say that I really enjoyed the ups and downs this season; however, I did not realize how much money this season would cost. Our tournaments are paid by our host name; but all other expenses were left up to me and the parents. I paid for the 12 uniforms which totaled about $75.00 apiece. I paid for the team bags and 50% of the team shoes. The parents paid the other 50%. We also had hotel expenses that parents and myself had to pay. The experience is rewarding, yet expensive. We are looking for sponsors for our 2009 season. We will not need new uniforms as we will use the same ones from this past season. We should would benefit from any donation to help purchase team shoes, bags, t-shirts(which could include your logo), and hotel expenses. Please do not hestitate to contact me if you need any more information.

    Dear Friend,
Let me start first by introducing myself my name is Paula Stokes and I am a active parent with a local gym in McDonough, Ga. called CTA ALLSTARS,
Which is an All Stars cheerleading Gym. Which trains athletes and allows older athletes to advance there skills in tumbling, stunting and working together as a team, this gym also focuses on making sure that each and every child achieves the goals in which they have set out to accomplish , which helps build self-esteem , and helps promote positive outcomes in life.
These teams travel all over the United States to different competitions, to compete against teams from different gyms that are in the same division as them.
This sport does require a lot of time and dedication from the parents and the children. But as long as the commitment and the dedication is there from the children and the parents the outcome of these children is amazing.
Lots of these children receive full scholarships to some of the best colleges in the United States.
Without these scholarships, which are very important to a lot of these children, most of these children would not be able to further there education.
That is why this is so bothersome to me, because these kids work just as hard and are very dedicated to this program and strive on improving there skills, not just for the team, but for the gym that they are representing.
For some reason unlike football, baseball, basketball, and other sports cheerleading is not considered to be a sport. So the kids are the one’s that end up suffering in the long run. A lot of company will step up and sponsor Football like Nike, Adidas, Coke , jus to name a few. But weather a child is throwing a football down the field, bouncing a ball down the court, Or tumbling on stage, all of these children deserve the same right to be able to continue there education, By procuring something that that they love and enjoy.
By us helping them it helps society out in the long run , it keep them off of the street, and away from drugs, and it shows them how to work for what they believe in, so every child deserves a little help from time to time.
If all everybody body is wonting is advertising, as stated above, these children are traveling around the united States and participating in many competitions, which draws thousands of fans, news and media,
All it would take is for one person to step up, for what these children believe in, and that some big name company helped these kids make dreams of theirs come true, I feel like many more of them would follow.
If you feel like you are your company could help these kids out, it would help to what seemed impossible dreams come true.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to listen,

    Sincerely,
    Paula Stokes

I am starting a Men’s Basketball Club team at Hofstra University. We have a roster and a coach in place and six local schools have agreed to play against us. However, our university will be hosting a presidential debate and our recreation center will be undergoing renovation this Fall which leaves us in limbo as to our court situation on campus. We kind of have no place to practice or host home games, but there is a place about 10 minutes away from campus that is willing to host us, but the cost doesn’t fit into our budget. I’ve been told to wait until mid-August at the earliest for a solution to our court issue, but by then all our potential opponents will have filled their schedules and we’d be left out in the cold. If there is anyway you guys could help, it’d be so very greatly appreciated! Thanks very much!

I kindly request your support in sponsoring the 9u Henderson Gators Baseball Club.

Competitive Baseball has so many reasons for being one of the most successful youth activities in the United States. It promotes a healthier lifestyle by involving our kids in energy expending activities. It develops a sense of teamwork and also encourages the kids to excel as individuals. It teaches valuable lessons in fair competition. It encourages participation in our favorite national pastime.

A Competitive Baseball program gives the children an opportunity and arena to build upon the skills they have learned in Little League and helps them advance to the next level of competition. By focusing on specific skill development, training, and each child’s individual techniques, we can give them the attention and time to prepare them for the next level of play.

While our goal is development, we also do not want to lose sight of why we play the game; to have fun, make friends, and teach our children how to grow physically and mentally with responsibility, effort and sportsmanship.

The Gators need your help to keep the expenses low in this unsure economic time. The costs of equipment, uniforms, field lights, batting cage facilities, and tournament play are rising. League logistics expenses are increasing, and player involvement can dwindle without the help of generous sponsors like you. We need to keep the cost per participant at a level that encourages, rather than discourages play. Sponsorship is the only way this can occur.

    Sincerely,
    Brian K. Martin, Manager
